Dear all
A frustrating afternoon yesterday for the 1sts, who did brilliantly to bowl out last season's Chess Valley Div 1 champions UCS Old Boys for only 128 and then moved along to 78-4 off 16 overs in reply only for the heavens to open leaving us with a draw despite being way ahead of the required rate (Chess Valley rules require 25 overs to be bowled in the 2nd innings to qualify as a completed game).
Better news for the U11s in the morning who won their 8th game out of 8 beating Enfield Town by 6 wickets with 6 overs to spare - especially good considering 7 of the team who played are 10 or younger and qualify for the team next year.
Finally, in terms of round-up, highlight of the weekend has to be the return of the Daniels brothers (Andy and Jon) who played in our 2ndX1 friendly game rolling back the years - Andy 8 overs for only 17 runs and Jon 16 not out, like they never left...

25 June: Training session at Rowley Lane for all junior players 7+ with Julien Wiener - 9.30am start and adults to participate/join us in Clubhouse for Q&A at 10.45am.
2 July: Club Day parents and sons tournament followed by Junior Awards and lunch - Potters Bar CC 9am start
