Match report Cockfosters Under 11's 158-2 bat LMVCC 92-6 by 66 runs

The under 11s started their season against a strong Cockfosters side.Captain for the day Jamie Wise won the toss and decided to bowl first.

The Cockfosters openers got off to a quick start,and after 12 overs had reached 92-0.The bowling improved towards the end of the innings,but 158 was a big target to chase. Josh Summerfield and Louis Deacon were the pick of the bowlers,both bowling their full four over stint,with Josh also claiming a wicket.The fielding was mixed,but special mention should go to Rafi, Josh and Cameron,all of whom saved many runs. Cameron deserves special mention for managing to run out one of the Cockfosters batsmen.

In reply LMV were always behind the rate. Adam Greensite and Nathan Silver both got into double figures,both hitting boundaries,and Jamie also batted well against the opening bowlers.

Hopefully we can improve our fielding in our next match,which is next Wednesday.
