Match report A quite remarkable Match as 6 members of our Team were marooned on a closed M25 and arrived in the 7th over as the remaining 4 players had had to start the Match and Zac Wolpe and Sam Stain batted with Thomas Goulde with a skill and maturity that belied their age to keep the innings alive until reinforcements arrived. A skillful innings by Thomas Goulde which included a remarkable 11 boundaries was ended by Enfield's best bowler on 49 and despite having been 7 for 2 after 7 overs the Team managed to reach 102 at the end of our 20 0vers with great contributions from Gidon Katten and Nathan Wise. In the Enfield Innings Nathan Wise bowled quickly and economically and was joined by Dani Lazard, Zac Garcia, Jamie and Zac Wolpe in keeping the Enfield score well below the asking rate and some astonishing fielding including one 40 yard direct hot run out by Noah Silver took us to a last over with Enfield needing 6 to win and Thomas Goulde bowled aggressively and Enfield managed only 1 run and lost 2 wickest to run outs and after a very difficult start LMVCC U13's finished the Season on a great high with a superb win.
