Scorecard

Kensington & Chelsea v London Maccabi Vale Cricket Club 2nd XI on Sun 09 May 2010 at 13.30
London Maccabi Vale Cricket Club Lost By 143 runs

Match report The match started in near farcial conditions with LMV having only 7 players on the field. This allowed K&C to get off to a flying start which was barely slowed down by the arrival of the rest of the team.
With the exception of Uncle Jon, our bowling was hit to the boundary regularly. A poor all round fielding display including several dropped catches didn't help the situation. K&C ended up on 243-6 on a pitch that in all honesty was no batsmen's paradise.
In reply our innings never really got going, and only Benjamin Lederman, opening the innings for the first time, made it into double figures (22). We subsided meekly to 100 all out.

A very disappointing result, but with batting resources extremely limited at present, we are going to have to bowl, field and catch much better than this if we are to win league matches this season.
