Match report LMV finished their season with a thrilling one run win over Holtwhite trinibis.Captain for the day Nathan won the toss and decided to bat first.Openers Alex and Sam got LMV off to a solid start,scoring at five runs an over.After Sam was out Zac came in and hit a quickfire 15,including a six and two fours.Wickets continued to fall at regular intervals,and LMV reached 95-8,helped by scores of 12 from Alex and Elan,and 9 by Nathan.In reply the Holtwhite batsmen went for their shots from ball one,and at halfway were well placed at 50-2.The introduction of Alex Davidson changed th egame.He bowled 3 overs taking 1-8,and with Benjamin taking 3-17 and Nathan 2-10 Holtwhite needed nine off the last over to win.The responsibiltyof the last over was given to Sam Jayes,and he held his nerve,enabling LMV to win by a single run.
There were great stops in the field by Josh and Jamie,which in the end proved crucial.

Well done to all the boys on our best season yet.
