London Maccabi Vale Cricket Club Won by 7 wickets

Match report LMV under 11s (66-3) beat Botany Bay(64 all out) by 7 wickets.

LMV recorded their first win of the season with a seven wicket victory over Botany Bay.Captain for the day Jonathan won the toss and decided to bowl..LMV got off to a sensational start,reducing Botany Bay to 8-5 thanks to three wickets to Adam and two to Jonathan.Botany Bay managed to recover the situation,but were restricted by Josh,who took 1-7 in four overs,and by Jamie who took his first wicket for the club with 1-13 in his four overs.Josh's wicket was due to a fantastic stumping by wicketkeeper Miles.


In reply Miles and Jack opened the batting and gave LMV a steady start.After Miles had scored 6 he was run out,and although Adam was soon caught,Jonathan came out to join Jack and these two put on 27 for the third wicket,with Jonathan hitting three boundaries.Nathan joined Jonathan with 16 still needed,and these two saw LMV home with two overs to spare.This was a well deserved win for the boys,which hopefully they can build on in our last match next week.
