LMV under13s 117-4 beat Enfield under 13s 103 -6 by 14 runs
 
LMV won their first match of the season with a much improved performance against Enfield.Captain Nathan Wise lost the toss and LMV were asked to bat first.Noah Silver and Jonathan Roskin gave LMV a solid start,and when Zac Summerfield joined Noah the run rate quickly improved.These two put on 50 for the second wicket with Noah scoring 28 before he was retired.Zac soon followed after scoring 24,but with all the batsmen chipping in  LMV closed on 117-4 after their 20 overs.Enfield also made a quick start,and despite an early wicket for Sam Jayes after 9 overs Enfield were up with the rate.The game changed with the introduction of Harry Levy,playing his first match.Harry took a wicket in his first over,and ended up with 1-10 in 4 overs.Enfield were always behind the rate,and ended up 14 runs short.The wickets were shared with two for Sam Jayes,and one each for Zac Garcia,Nathan,Harry and Jamie.The fielding was generally good,with catches taken by Jonathan,Elan and Nathan.Special mention for Elan and David,who were outstanding in the field.Hopefully we can continue to improve in both matches next week
