London Maccabi Vale Cricket Club Lost by 37 runs

Match report LMV's second XI made a welcome reappearance after a long time and started with 2 quick wickets from Freeds. However the game was then taken away from them by 3 young talented batsman, with the opener making a century before being brilliantly stumped by Alex Haffner, giving Sam Feigenbaum his first senior wicket for the club. On a hot day, LMV gave their all in the field, with further wickets from Wise, Gale and Jon Feigenbaum, another fine stumping.

A spirited reply started with guest Nick McLeod making an accomplished 22 before being superbly run out. A stand of 96 then followed with Gideon Gale making his highest score for the club of 44, including the only 6 of the match, and Jon Feigenbaum, eventually caught for a fine, cultured innings of 69. Several other batsman got into double figures but the Bengeo total was out of reach and LMV fell 37 runs short.
