London Maccabi Vale Cricket Club Lost by 48 runs

Match report LMV lost to a much older Cockfosters team,on a miserable day weather wise.Captain for the day Miles won the toss and decided to field first.Cockfosters had an excellent opening batsman who scored quickly against every bowler,and as he was allowed to bat for 15 overs the boys found it hard to make a breakthrough.Adam took two wickets in his four overs,going for only 17 runs.Cameron also bowled very well,taking two wickets in his spell.Both Adam and Cameron also each ran out a Cockfosters batsman in what was a good display by everyone in the field.Josh also bowled well,with out any reward,whilst Jack and Jonathan were outstanding in the field.

With the bat LMV lost early wickets,and the boys struggled against good bowling.Miles scores 10 not out against the opening bowlers,whilst Adam and Jonathan also batted well.Overall the boys' effort can not be faulted,but it is a steep learning curve for all of them,against bigger and older teams.
