LATEST NEWS AND DATE FOR THE DIARY

03 Jun 2021

Dear all

Hope you are well and enjoying the cricketing weather?

Another good week of on-field performances for the Club, including the 1st team winning a nail biting game in the Chess Valley League vs Eastcote by 4 runs in the last over - we are now top of Division One with two wins and an abandoned game.

Meanwhile, our colts are also continuing to "walk the walk" with the U13s top of their league and U11s second. The U15s have yet to play many games due to a combination of bad weather and opposition teams crying off, but will no doubt catch-up soon. Match of the week was the U13s vs Totteridge which went to the final ball and resulted in a one run loss, despite an excellent 50 from Ben Musikant.

Reminder to all colts to come to training on Sundays 10-12 (10-11 for U11s, 11-12 the rest) at Rowley Lane and adults Tuesday and Thursday net sessions 6.15-7.30pm.

Finally an important date for the diary - Sunday 25 July is our Club Day at Dame Alice Owen's School, Dugdale Hill Lane, Potters Bar. The morning will be a Parents and kids tournament followed by the Colts Awards, and the afternoon a 6 a-side tournament for the adult teams. We will send through a sign-up form soon.

For those non-playing members (or who are currently wrapped up in cotton wool), please can I ask you to come and support our teams? All matches are on the website including venue details and the teams would love to have you along!...

Best regards,

Alex Haffner
